About Me
Thanks for allowing me to join. I was brought up in Heaton Norris living on Heaton Road for many years before moving to Shropshire. My Dad, Bill Benett and my Uncle Peter owned the butcher shop on Heaton Lane. Although I've seen several photos of the Gardeners Arms would love to see any of our shop, or hear from anyone who remembers my family! The shop was demolished in the 1970's. I've really enjoyed looking at all the photo's it's been a lovely trip down memory lane.

Hi Mary. Great to see another new member. Can't really say that I can remember the butchers shop even though I actually worked on Heaton Lane in the 70's At Cantrell and Cochrane..... Bill
