Joan I remember going there for granddad's tobacco. I had trouble reaching the handle to get into the shop.
That little shop on the corner behind lampost, My Grandad used to send me there for his tobacco 2ozs thick twist!

I had a friend who lived on George's Rd. The family's name was Gaunt. Not sure if I spelled that right.
I remember Anne she was a friend we use to play in the back yard.

I know of an Anne Gaunt that lived in the area. I know my brother Derek used to mention her.
Perhaps he can remember more than I can.
